USAID AfyaYangu (“My Health”) – RMNCAH is a comprehensive health program aimed at improving reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health outcomes in Tanzania. The program focuses on strengthening healthcare services, enhancing community awareness, and ensuring equitable access to quality healthcare for women, children, and adolescents.
Program Goals
- Reduce maternal and newborn mortality through improved access to skilled birth attendants and emergency obstetric care
- Enhance reproductive health services, including family planning and safe pregnancy practices.
- Improve child health by increasing immunization coverage and addressing malnutrition.
- Strengthen adolescent health programs, including sexual and reproductive health education.
